Santiago STEAM Magnet PTA knows how important it is to be an active participant in the community.  Benefits include increased trust to take academic risks, decreased behavior issues, and a feeling of ownership of their environment and learning. For these reasons and so many more, we started the Spirit Button Program to give each student a small button as a reminder that they participated in something alongside their community. 

We will be adding to the buttons as more programs are added to our calendar. Encourage your student to collect them all!
