Santiago’s annual Jog-a-thon will take place on Friday, February 7th! This year’s theme is “Love Run,” as February is National Heart Month.

We would like our Eagles to have their own T-shirts as a keepsake from this event!

We are reaching out to families who own businesses, know someone with a business, or have connections to companies that would be willing to donate. Your contributions are tax-deductible, and we aim to raise approximately $4,500 to provide each student and staff member with a shirt.

Additionally, we will hold an art contest for the design on the front of the T-shirt, and we will keep track of lap counts on the back. If you know anyone interested in supporting this initiative, or if you would like to get involved, please contact Melissa Downing.

We still need Head Coaches for 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade for our KROC program! 

If you enjoy being outdoors and working with kids, this is an excellent opportunity to make a difference. No running experience is required – just a desire to encourage and engage students in fun activities, games, and relays. 

As a coach, you’ll ensure our students stay safe, active, and, most importantly, have fun while working toward their 26.2 miles and beyond goal! Remember, the number of volunteers determines how many students can participate, so your involvement is crucial.

We are so incredibly lucky for the donation of this custom built LEGO Sorter. Designed and built by Grandma Karen (not pictured), coordinated and dropped off by Ben V. and Jaime V.

This sorter will help organize LEGOS in the Innovation Lab so it’s easier and quicker to find particular blocks while ideating for projects. It will also serve as a Social Emotional Behavior (SEB) tool to allow kids to roll, rock and swish the sorter back and forth to calm down and reset.
